Enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panorama, which affords sweeping views of the city and beaches below. The afternoon and evening are free. Tonight, you may opt to join an outing to a fun churrascaria for a feast of barbecued meats that are marinated and roasted over charcoal in true Brazilian style.

(B)

Day 5: IGUASSU FALLS. EXCURSION TO IGUASSU FALLS, ARGENTINA
Your Local Guide will take you across the Brazilian border for a private tour of the Argentine side of the Iguassu Falls. Begin with a short ride on the open-air Ecological Jungle Train through the rainforest. From atop the falls, a series of boardwalks takes you above the falls to see the water crashing down more than 300 feet below into the Devil’s Throat. Return across the border to Brazil for a free afternoon and evening.

At Rano Raraku, the volcanic quarry where the moai were carved, encounter nearly 400 statues frozen in various stages of completion, revealing how these iconic figures were created. Journey on to Ahu Tongariki to see 15 beautifully restored moai standing proudly against the landscape, and Ahu Te Pito Kura, home to the largest moai ever transported and erected. Conclude your tour at the white-sand beach of Anakena, where legend says King Hotu Matu’a first landed on Easter Island.

Next, explore Puna Pau, the quarry of red scoria stone where the distinctive pukao, or topknots, that crown many moai were carved. Conclude the day at the Tahai ceremonial complex, one of Rapa Nui’s most important archaeological sites, showcasing three restored platforms and moai whose unique features reflect different periods of the island’s history.
